For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. Many 2014's aren't this nice. For those who don't know what this is. In 1994 ford offered 3 diesel engines. The 7. 3l idi non-turbo which is the same engine they used since 1988, fully mechanical and basically bullet proof. The 7. 3l powerstroke but only with a 5spd which is the same engine used until 1997 and with an injector and couple of other changes till 2004, another fantastic engine but now with computers. The 7. 3l idi turbo has the best of both worlds. What sets it apart is it's totally mechanical with no computers or sensors to go bad, it only needs fuel to run. Compared to a 6. 0, 6. 4 or 6. 7 the powerstrokes are very cheap and easy to work on but nothing even comes close to a mechanical engine. I bought this truck from the 1st and only owner in 1998 and used it daily in my business until sometime around 2003 when my needs changed. I had to buy a 4 door truck and decided to move up to a f-550 crew cab. Since then this truck has only been used to move a small trailer when i wasn't around with f-550. It has 6 alcola aluminum bud wheels on it, not only the outsides like everyone else. The seat is an custom aftermarket 40/20/40 with leather and cloth inserts. The upper console has cup holders and inside storage and the lower cushion flips up to provide storage underneath it. The bed is not beat up and is barely scratched. It does have a 10000lbs reese style trailer hitch, a 25000lbs hide-away gooseneck hitch and a set of air bags on the rear that will need to be either plumbed or a air pump hooked to them (i removed them from another truck and never used them). At 148k miles i sent an employ to go and fill it up, he did so but did it with gasoline. This was not realized and it was driven while pulling a load and cracked a piston. At that time i pulled the engine and had it totally rebuilt with all new pistons, bearings valve job and fully machined. At the same time i went ahead and had the transmission rebuilt even though it didn't need it because it was already out. Whatever this truck needed it got as i never knew where i would need it to take me next. I've put roughly 40k miles on it since then, it runs and drives near perfect and has absolutely no blow by. When i decided to sell it last week i had my mechanic drop and clean both fuel tanks and install a fresh set of injectors. I really hate to sell this truck as i have kept it for so long but i've decided i have way to many v.
